Vi Shafer 2010 Recital Overview

Shop Till You Drop, was the theme for the Vi Shafer 2010 Dance Recital. Of course, this my favorite thing to do. All the kids, their parents and all the dance instructors worked really hard to put on a wonderful show. Their practice throughout the year plus their dedication to dance really showed. Here is just a small sample of the kids practicing, dress rehearsal, the recital, the beautiful costumes, and the photo session. Great job, Vi Shafer Dancers!

Mix the first 5 ingredients together for 5 weeks constantly adding a healthy slice of attitude. Blend with a lot of discipline, hard work and dedication. Add extra amounts of love with endless enthusiasm and you end up with what Dale & I captured on film.

It is always fun to work in your hometown and this year was no exception. The Miss Coloma/Mr. Coloma pageants were combined, which meant double the fun! CCPO always puts on an excellent pageant and everyone involved works very hard to make it nice for the contestants, their parents and the audience that attends the event. This is the overview for our 2010 pageant. We had a feelin' that it was going to be a good night...and it was. Enjoy.

'Dreaming of a White Christmas' was the theme of this years pageant. The stage props were very colorful and beautifully done. The lighting was spectacular, and of course the contestants were all amazing. Miss and Little Miss Stevensville combined was the recipe for one very delicious holiday pageant. Filmed two nights in a row. The Miss Southwest Michigan Teen Scholarship Pageant and then The Miss Southwest Michigan Scholarship Pageant. This overview contains rehearsals and highlights from both nights ending with the crowning of Miss Southwest Michigan 2010.
Many hours of preparation, hard work and attention to detail resulted in two wonderfully enjoyable pageants filled with dazzling moments provided by our cast and crew, our special guests and of course, our twenty-seven beautiful and stunning young ladies representing Southwest Michigan.
